Şelale Özmen
Şelale Özmen, MD, graduated in 1984 from Hacettepe University Medical School, Ankara, Turkey, and worked in a family planning centre as a general practitioner from October 1984 to June 1986. In 1990, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynaecology at Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Women’s Hospital, Ankara, Turkey. She then worked in the High-Risk Pregnancy Department of Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Women’s Hospital for three years. Since 1993 she has been working in a private hospital as an obstetrician. She is also a consultant in a reproductive health programme in Turkey funded by the European Union.
