Cynthia Pileggi Castro Souza
Dr Cynthia Pileggi Castro Souza is a Brazilian medical doctor trained at the University of São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil. Based on her training in paediatrics and social, community and children’s health, she is recognized as a specialist in neonatology and paediatric intensive care by the Brazilian Medical Association and the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics. After working for ten years as a clinician in Brazil, she currently works as an independent consultant in children’s health and neonatology in Geneva, Switzerland. She is interested in evidence-based medicine, work of the Cochrane Collaboration and development of evidence-based guidelines.
