Mario Festin
Mario Festin is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Clinical Epidemiology at the University of the Philippines, Manila, Philippines. He was formerly the Executive Director of the National Institutes of Health and Vice-Chancellor for Research at the University of the Philippines, Manila, Philippines. His research interests include preterm labour, epidemiology of reproductive health indicators, and applications of medical informatics. He has Master's degrees in Clinical Epidemiology and in Health Professions Education. He is a practising obstetrician/gynaecologist at the Philippine General Hospital and other hospitals in Manila, Philippines.
