Lapitan M
Marie Carmela M. Lapitan received her medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of the Philippines, Manila, Philippines. She completed her urology training at the Philippine General Hospital in Manila. Currently she is: Research Assistant Professor at the National Institutes of Health, University of the Philippines, Manila; Clinical Associate Professor at the College of Medicine, University of the Philippines; and Consultant Urologist at the Philippine General Hospital. She is an editor of the Cochrane Incontinence Review Group of the Cochrane Collaboration. She is a member of the International Consultation on Incontinence and has been involved in various research endeavors in general urology, incontinence, surgical education and health informatics.
