Dr Khalid S. Khan is a Senior Lecturer in the Academic Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Birmingham, Birmingham, United Kingdom. He is currently on secondment to the National Health Service Centre for Reviews and Dissemination at the University of York, York, United Kingdom. His previous clinical work has been in under-resourced settings in Pakistan and Kenya. Trained as a clinical epidemiologist, he has special interest in practising and promoting evidence-based obstetrics and gynaecology.
