El-Gibaly O.M.
O.M. El-Gibaly is Assistant Professor of Public Health at Assiut University, Assiut, Egypt. She is currently a co-Principal Investigator of a joint collaborative project between the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Assiut University. Her main activities are related to building, through training and research, human resource capacity in reproductive health within the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Assuit University. Her main research interest is reproductive health, family Planning, adolescent health, and female genital mutilation. She has been engaged in research with multiple national and international organizations, including for example the Population Council WANA office, UNFPA, UNDP and the Egyptian Fertility Care Society.
