Clare Cutland
Clare Cutland is a research medical officer in the Respiratory and Meningeal Pathogens Research Unit (RMPRU) at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, Soweto, South Africa. She has a postgraduate diploma in paediatrics, and she is currently the lead trial co-ordinator for the South African Chlorhexidine Vaginal Disinfection Trial. Her main research interests are epidemiology and prevention of sepsis in young infants and the potential impact of maternal HIV infection on neonatal sepsis.
