The course provides learners a forum for discussing and sharing information of emerging issues in health services management, shared learning of knowledge and skills in health services, and application of management issues, practical challenges facing health services development and innovations in management of health care services. The course provides an opportunity for students to develop skills in oral and written presentations of issues in the field of management as well as to enable learners to make presentations, critically examine issues affecting the management of health care institutions and care delivery, share experiences and to link theory to practice.

The aim of the course is to enable learners develop communication, analytical, diagnostic and report writting skills, as well as link what they learn learn in theory with practice to support health services management
