Overview of the Module This module will enable students to apply knowledge, skills, and appropriate attitudes acquired from, Anatomy, Physiology, Maternal and Neonatal care, Men’s and women’s reproductive health, gender and health, reproductive health care across the life cycle. Emphasis is placed on promoting evidence based and culturally sensitive care. Students are encouraged to be innovative and demonstrate the ability to integrate physiological, pathophysiological, sociological, psychological, and spiritual aspects into the assessment and provision of care.

Module Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this module learners shall be able to:
i. Demonstrate competence in providing Reproductive health care to individuals and their families
ii. Assess all dimensions of selective RH delivery systems consistent with the components of the nursing metaparadigm (client, health, nursing, environment)
iii. Identify gaps in the provision of reproductive health services
iv. Outline recommendations and solutions to address the identified gaps
v. Demonstrate advanced skills in client assessment and provision of care
vi. Demonstrate leadership skills during the provision of RH services
