• Apply the midwifery management process during the care of perinatal mothers and their families in community settings

• Demonstrate competence and safety in the provision of care for perinatal mothers and neonates in the community

• Formulate interventions at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels of prevention that influence the health of mothers, neonates and communities.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members in the community and make appropriate referrals
