Module Overview:
This module builds on knowledge, skills and attitudes studied in Midwifery Science I. Problem solving approach and midwifery management process continue to be used to identify and manage common complications of the mother during the perinatal period. The module equips the learner with knowledge, skills and appropriate attitudes in midwifery to comprehensively manage perinatal mothers with complications and their families in health care settings.
How to use the module:
The module has been prepared to help students learn about management of clients with complications during the perinatal period. It is recommended that you use this module as a guide. You should read the content of the module and refer to other sources of literature including books, Journals and internet. You should also complete the assignments as designed and consult widely on each topic.
The module has four units and you are required to complete all the content.
